Michael J Slawta Sr 44, of Sunset Trailer Park passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 6, 1998 at Robert Packard Hospital. Born March 6, 1954 in Williamsport, PA, he was the son of Joseph Slawta, Newark Valley and the late Patricia Fagge Slawta. Michael was a member of St John’s Lutheran Church and had been the manager of the Sunset Trailer Park for the last two years. He is survived by his wife of four years, Sheila; two daughters Amber Slawta, Johnson City, NY, Lori Robinson, Waverly, NY; three sons Michael Slawta Jr, Maine, NY, William Slawta, Media, PA, Robert R Robinson, Pineville, NC; two grandchildren Matthew McCabe, Waverly, NY; Kaylee Robinson, Pineville, NC; sisters, Linda Ives, Burlington,VT, Sharon Slawta, Virginia Beach, VA, Donna Burun, Ithaca, NY, Nancy Dillard, Marietta, GA, Theresa MacQuentin, Windham, ME; brothers Steven Slawta, Newark Valley, NY, David Slawta, Gardner, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.
